Seventeen sites reporting this week. European corn borer-E (ECB-E) was not caught at any of the reporting sites and only five sites caught ECB-Z. Corn earworm (CEW) numbers have greatly increased this week with 13 sites reporting trap catches, all but two were high enough to drive the spray schedule. For recommended spray intervals based on trap catches see chart at bottom. Fall armyworm (FAW) numbers remain high with 12 sites reporting catches. From the graph below it seems that the FAW numbers have leveled off. Western bean cutworm was caught at only two sites this week.
