Only one site caught European corn borer-E (ECB-E) and three sites caught ECB-Z. Corn earworm (CEW) was caught at six sites, with three sites high enough to consider a 5 or 6 day spray interval. Five sites reported fall armyworm (FAW), with feeding damage observed at some of the locations and counts as high as 22 and 59. These fall armyworm moths may have been brought in by the recent storm front as most of the moths were damaged and lacking scales. Western bean cutworm (WBC) was only caught at one site this week, Williamson, which has been catching WBC for the last 8 weeks.
