This is the first post for the 2019 season. Twelve sites reporting this week. Only two sites caught ECB-E (Seneca Castle and Hurley) and one site caught ECB-Z (Hurley). No other moths were caught. There are five new sites this year, Attica, Basom, Carlton, Lyndonville and Portville. To view a map of where all the current sites are located please visit the About page of this blog.

Plantings have been delayed at several sites due to the wet spring, however, degree day accumulations for most sites are around the time for spring flight of ECB-E according to the development model from the University of Wisconsin (see chart below).
